What’s Fixable vs. When to Bring in a Pro for a New Concrete Coating
If you have a current concrete coating that has issues, (from a DIY project or from another company) there may be some steps you can take to address the issues. Check to see if the issues are surface level and can be cleaned with a mild cleaner and a little time.
Choose a full removal & reinstall when issues are systemic: widespread peeling/delamination, recurring moisture blisters, large DIY areas separating from the slab, deep oil contamination in the concrete, or cracks/spalls telegraphing across the floor. Not sure which you have? Start with Troubleshooting or request an estimate and send photos—we’ll recommend the simplest, most durable fix.
