Factors that impact cost

These scenarios listed out all include factors that can have an impact on the overal cost of your project. If your project is straightforward we can offer a general quote over the phone. However, we will require an in-person site visit before we can give you a final quote.

Standard 2-Car Garage: full-broadcast flake after routine prep. This will be the lowest cost option.
3-Car or Oversize: more square footage adds to the overall cost of the project.
Workshop With Steps/Curbs: added verticals like steps and curbs involve using more product and detail time.
Dealing with a DIY Epoxy Kit or Failing Coating: remove failing material and correct slab can add to cost; see Troubleshooting.

Yes. Road salt and freeze-thaw cycles cause pitting and cracks in bare concrete. A coating seals the surface so salt and water can’t soak in, and cleanup is as easy as rinsing and squeegeeing.

Central Virginia’s humid summers and damp ground can push moisture up through concrete. We test your slab before we start and recommend mitigation if it’s needed, so your coating bonds and lasts.

Usually, yes. Older slabs in Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Charlottesville often have cracks, stains, or uneven spots. We grind and repair the concrete before coating so the finished floor bonds well and looks clean.
