Why Did This Commercial Kitchen Need a New Floor?
The kitchen at Holly Brook Baptist Church was still fully equipped for food preparation, but the existing floor was showing significant wear.
The before photos show an older gray surface with chipped and worn areas throughout the kitchen. Cracks were also visible across sections of the floor.

Preparing a Worn Commercial Kitchen Floor

Gravel combines white, gray, and darker flakes to create a neutral finish that works well with the stainless-steel equipment throughout the kitchen.
During a full-broadcast installation, decorative flakes cover the floor rather than being used as a light accent. That creates the dense, consistent appearance visible in the completed kitchen photos.
One of the biggest considerations on this project was the existing kitchen layout. The coating had to transition around sinks, prep stations, appliances, equipment legs, plumbing, and floor drains. Working carefully around those areas allowed the finished system to extend throughout the usable floor space without requiring the church to completely dismantle its commercial kitchen.
